About
Hello, my name is Anna Mulligan! I'm a private tutor, and I have over 5 years experience teaching English as a Second Language. In addition, I have experience teaching other subjects, such as math, science, and writing. My focus in on tutoring kids; most of my students are between the ages of 5 and 15. I believe that students learn best when they are comfortable, and I work hard to ease any fears they might have. The best part of my job is seeing the students' hard work pay off as they begin to speak more confidently and with ease!

Conversation Practice
Relax into a conversation about your favorite topics and your daily life. As we talk, I'll correct mistakes and help with any vocabulary words you might need.

Grammar Lesson
In these lessons, we'll go over specific grammar patterns and rules. After I'm sure you understand the main idea, we'll practice it together with a conversation or a game.

Vocabulary Building
We'll learn vocabulary words first and then practice them while looking at pictures.

Writing Lesson
This is a more formal kind of lesson where we go over grammar concepts that you'd use in writing. If you're ready for it, I'll give you some written homework to do for the next class.

About
I'm born and raised in the United States and speak with a neutral American accent. A couple of my hobbies are reading and hiking in the mountains. I love animals and enjoy hearing about what animals my students think are the cutest.
